What Is A Keyword Phrase?

Keywords are questions that users ask a search engine. From this initial concept, we can understand that a Keyword Phrase is a combination of keywords entered into the search engine to search and find something, buy, or solve a problem.

How To Choose Keyword Phrases For Search Engines?

You should try to use all the keywords that you think someone might search to find your site.

It is best to use simple, everyday language that users may write. Multiple uses of each keyword phrase should be included, enough to stand out on the page but without forcing the keywords into the content. The idea is to mention each keyword a few times while ensuring that it still sounds natural. Also, avoid using only general phrases; it should include detailed descriptive words. If your keywords are too general, you may find too much competition from others targeting the same keywords.

But if your keywords are very specific, there will be fewer people searching for those terms, resulting in fewer potential visitors. A balance must be maintained, and the rules are neither strict nor fast. You have to find the right match for your site by searching for the keywords that drive traffic that drives conversions.

When locating keywords in the site content, make sure the surrounding words are also good search keywords.

Stop words (common words like a, to, if, who, etc., that connect ideas but without adding much meaning to the content) should also be included in the search. Previously Google had removed stopwords from its indexes for a few years, but now it uses them to search more precisely. You also don't want your website text to sound like machine language. Rather, you want the website to sound like everyday English; real readers are real people, after all. It's also not good to give search engines the feeling that you are cluttering keywords; expect natural-looking text, which means complete sentences.

One way to filter or refine the list of Keywords is to try to think as if they were just another visitor to your website:

  • Imagine what the visitor to the website would expect to find using a given Keyword.
  • Analyze if this visitor would be the one needed, if he is the right one to carry out the action expected of him (buy, subscribe, etc.)

Users must get what they are looking for on the website.

Although a wide variety of strategies can be used to get a user to visit your website, if the visitors are misled and cannot find what they are looking for, or the content does not deliver what they expect, they will leave immediately.

And if a user leaves as soon as they arrive, Google will conclude that the page does not correspond to the key phrase that is being promoted. And your ranking will get worse.

Why Are Keyword Phrases Important?

Generally speaking, when a user searches, they enter a keyword phrase instead of a single keyword. The highest percentage of search queries is three or more words. Therefore, having keyword phrases on the site gives you more chances to appear higher in the page ranking. The click-through rate is also increasing as more words match the search query. The conversion rate also increases because there are more chances that you have what the visitor is looking for.

Keywords are questions that are asked of the search engine and strive to answer in the best way possible.

And the way that search engines respond to them is by offering the most important pages in the results.

In short: users find the pages using Keyword Phrases. That is why it very important to know how to choose the most beneficial ones and use them in SEO on Page and SEO Off-Page.
